Listed below you will find the books that have been discussed recently during Book Bites. Some of them include reviews by students. This book is about a slave trying to escape north. I like this book because it is exciting. You should read this book because it talks about slavery.

This book is about a romantic kick-butt story! I recommend it. I like this book because I have mixed emotions. You should read this book because it's great and it has a point not just fighting.






Cosmic

This book is about a kid that has a medical disorder that makes him tall. He can chaperone for a NASA space mission and lie about going on a field trip to his mom. I like this book because it's funny. You should read this book because it's funny.

Maximum Ride, The Angel Experiment by James Patterson

You should read this book because it's an epic adventure of 6 kids with wings called the Flock. They are on the run from the "School" and the "Erasers", which are wolf/human mutants. My favorite part was when Max was on the search for the best chocolate chip cookies. Her and Fang get cookies and Max went into a really big explanation about the cookie and Fang says it's fine.


Murder She Wrote, A Little Yuletide Murder by Donald Bain

You should read this book because someone killed the man who played Santa Claus in the Christmas parade. My favorite part was when the waitress was butting into the gossip.

You should read this book because it was really funny. My favorite part was Payton's head was full of grease.





Nation by Terry Pratchett

You should read this book because it's exciting. My favorite part was at the beginning. (I only read the beginning so far.)







Clementine by Sarah Pennypacker

You should read this book because Clementine is really funny and the book is written as if she is talking to the reader. My favorite part is when Clementine colors hair back on her friends head with permanent markers because they accidentally cut it all off. And when she calls her little brother rutabaga.




The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: The Mysterious Howling

You should read this book because a very young governess has to teach two children who were raised by wolves.
